PACKAGING AND SHIPPING
1.Container Transportation:It is typical that small steel sheet piles are able to be bundled together. It is cost-effective, time-saving and the best mode of transport in international trading. But larger sheet piles cannot be transported by container because of the limitation of size.
2.Bulk Transportation:Sheet piles without packing are under direct loaded on to the vehicle. This technique reduces cost and damage risk. Appropriate reinforcement – think tie-down straps, and load-rated vehicles, etc.
3.Flatbed Truck Transportation:Good for ordinary or large sheet piles. Safer than bulk transport. Different types of flatbeds (extendable trailers, low-bed trailers) are utilized depending on the length of the pile and its weight.
4.Railway Transportation:Steel sheet piles are loaded on to the well specialized rail cars. It enables quick, secure & affordable conveyance. Firm fastening and speed restriction are convenitent to avoid damages.
